While I live in MN, I'll always be a Virginian. I have a very diverse taste in music, but nothing sounds as right to me as DMB. Crush got my attention, Don't Drink the Water pulled me in, and The Stone sealed the deal. As far as my all-time favorite, I don't think I'll ever be able to choose between #41 and Seek Up ... and I don't think I really want to. Stumbling upon WDS was a fluke that I will forever be grateful for and I'm honored to be part of it all.

Residence: Northern Virginia
Purpose at WDS: DMBc content, maintaining harmony and bliss
DMB History: My friend burned me Jimi Thing in the 6th grade and I was mesmerized. I joined WDS in 2004 to hear more of the band, and after hearing Dave speak, I realized that these were musicians who cared for a lot of the same things as I did. Three concerts and hundreds of CD’s later, I’m still proud to represent the band.
In Reality: I am a full time student. I enjoy weekends, airports, pork lo mien, new books, and the season of winter. I dislike talking on cell phones at dinner, punk bands and country music, bad drivers, spiders, and horror films.
Thanks: To the band – for making music that perfectly emulates human emotion, and as a result, changes the world. And causing me to dance and sweat more than I thought humanly possible at a concert. To all of the fine people at WDS: You make the site what it is. DMB fans are the greatest people in the world.

When I was in high school, I remember hearing the occasional Dave Matthews Band song on the radio, but it wasn’t something that happened very often. I remember listening to my best friend’s copy of the Crash album during my sophomore year, and I listened to Two Step and #41 over and over again. But by the time I started college, I couldn’t get enough of DMB!
I’ve been to 11 shows and counting. If I had to pick a favorite concert, I don’t think I would be able to. Every show I’ve seen has been special to me for some reason or another. I’ve been lucky enough to go to a couple of shows with people from WDS -- and, by far, they have been my favorite people to see a show with!
Bryan
Bryan is your handsome DMBc moderator. He's been a fan of DMB since 1991 when he was 10 years old and his big sister's friend gave him a live show on tape from Trax. Since then Bryan has been to over 46 shows with no end in sight.
When hes not being a vault of DMB knowledge he is a professional lighting designer for theatre and concert events. Also, with your powers combined, Bryan is Captain Planet, and has often saved the earth from dangerous villians! Bry looks forward to seeing some of you during this summer's tour. "Thanks for making WDS a fun place to chill y'all"

Hey there, I have lived in the Worcester, MA area my whole life. I am part of WDS.com as a Moderator for the Media section of the site. I enjoy listening to DMB on a daily basis and I always look to help sharing the music that brings us all together.
I have seen nine DMB shows all together. One at Providence, One in Manchester, NH. Four in Hartford, CT. and three at Mansfield, MA where in 2005 I was lucky enough to see the return of #34. I have seen Grey Street six times. With Don't Drink The Water, One Sweet World and Everyday all with Five times each. You can see all of my show stats here.
I have meet some crazy fans before and after the show. But nothing beats the time I meet a man who was going over seas to Iraq. I was sitting right behind him during the show at Mansfield on September 9th, 2003. Dave had planned to play Two step for the closer but instead played Watchtower because this man had a sign asking for watchtower because he was going over seas. On the audio tape Dave says "You all be safe over there" after the intro to watchtower. That man was lucky enough to get a backstage pass for the encore.
If any DMB member is reading this; I would just want them to know how much their music has changed me and Thank You.
"Tables turned again on you my friend"

Location: A Two Step to S.P.A.C.
Age: 30 yrs young
Musical Bio:I love most real music and playing guitar.
I've been to too many Phish shows to remember what I had for breakfast this morning, but recently started my DMB touring several years ago and loving every new experience like it's my first.
Advice: Insane determination will find you in times of trouble...like when your wife loses one of your tickets somewhere in Boston 10 minutes before show time.
For the Band... First round's on me. Oh and Dave, If I ever meet you, don't hold it against me if my wife clings to your leg like a horny chihuahua.
We'd also like to acknowledge the work of those who have made significant contributions to this site in the past. Work, school and family can all take precidence over volunteering for the site. Here are some of the people who have helped make the site what it is today.

I am your witty, good-looking DMBc moderator, among other things. I'm also the guy who holds down the fort for southern DMB fans, who are woefully underrepresented on WDS. Bubba, this means you. You guys know you are out there. Even the doublewides have Internet access these days. No more excuses.
I've been a DMB fan since 1999 or so, but I've only been to three shows so far: Dallas in '01, '02, and '06. Once I finish college (the countdown to May 2007 has begun), I plan on increasing that number. Hope to see you at one of them. I'll be the guy in the Mavericks hat.
I do several different things for WDS. I've been a moderator since this summer, and I've done the newsletter since about August. Now I'm taking over as Director of Content -- sounds fancy, huh? -- meaning I'll keep the homepage updated with lots of good stuff for your reading pleasure. Check it often. If you have any ideas or submissions, let me know. I'm always looking for ideas.
To the guys: Thanks so much for the good times. Don't know where I'd be without all the good music. And stay in Texas a little longer next time. You'll get used to the smell. I promise.

I'm from Northeast Pennsylvania, and currently go to Wilkes University for bio/pre-med. I used to bring you the Weekly Davespeak newsletter, but had to pass the torch on to John when I got busy with school. Now I just bring you Davespeak, which is quite the task at times, but the strings get strung, and everybody's happy. Except my fingers hurt. And my brain.
So far in my short life, I have seen DMB 6 times (and counting) and was lucky enough to see Dave solo at Farm Aid 2006 with two cool WDSers. My favorite venue is Hershey, because that's one of the few I've been able to hit several times so far. I've also had two amazing shows there (2004 and 2006). Hershey's also like a second home to me because that's where I'll be going to med school.
So now when you here someone say something about Davespeak, there's a good chance I transcribed it for your listening pleasure.
If the guys were reading this, I'd say...Thank you.
Thank you's and Acknowledgements
A few other people have also been very helpful, including Waldo from over at Nancies, and some misc core fans who have great tips. And of course not just the biggest posters in the forums, but everyone who has taken the time to help out another DMB fan using site. You know who you are.
A special acknowledgement to the Donors to this website. Thank you.
This site would not exist without the blessing of Red Light Management and Music Today, and Bama Rags Inc. Bama Rags Inc. owns the Dave Matthews Band, DMB, and Firedancer trademarks. Most importantly we thank Dave Matthews, Carter Beauford, Stefan Lessard, LeRoi Moore and Boyd Tinsley. (and Butch too) Thank you.
