04.25.09 - Vanderbilt Stadium - Nashville, TN (merged)
Hands down, this is the most exited I have been about a Dave Show ever.
I heard about the Birmingham show which got me all kinds of exited since that venue is 4 minutes from my parents' house. But I live in Auburn and the Show is on a Monday Night. Then I scrolled down to see the Saturday show in Nashville. My best friend goes to Belmont in Nashville and lives 2 blocks away from Vandy Stadium. I'll pass on the Birmingham show to put all my marbles into Nashville. This tour is going to be great. The band is back to my two favorite towns, Birmingham and Nashville for the first time in YEARS. Plus with Jeff and Tim coming back on it's going to be amazing. A lot of surprises about this tour so far. I feel like someone is looking down on me after this day, smiling! Anyone else going to make it to these shows? Thoughts about the stadium as a venue?

I'll be at this show! Haven't even looked into the stadium or anything yet.....bookin the hotel now while the rates are still amazing!

Oh I will be there good thing about it being a hometown venue no need to worry for a hotel (sorry Julie) I think its a great idea I was thinking the hockey arena Sommet center but this is much better spring night in nashvegas rocking out to the boys

hey we scored 2 rooms at the Extended Stay less than a mile from the staduim for $100 a piece....not too bad if you ask me! I cannot WAIT! I'm curious as to who the opener is gonna be for this 'special show'...

FYI...I just got a room at the Marriot in Spring Hills for $129 (3 miles away)...but apparantly there is a marathon going on in Nashville that same weekend and places are booking up fast the lady said...the Marriot right next to Vanderbilt Stadium is already sold out.

It's 7 hours from Chicago, but I'll be stopping in Indy to gather the rest of my crew, so the drive won't feel that bad...

i'm still curious as to what this show is all about. Is it going to be a part of this Green Train event? Not quite sure what all the special attention is about but I'm excited. The stadium should work well. I'd assume the stage will be on the open end of the stadium, a la Vegoose, should be a hell of a time, plenty of room for tailgating. I'm anxious to hear who's playing with them.
