Opening Acts Summer 2012
I know it's early but I always like to think of who would make great opening acts for DMB: Here are my choices
1) Zac Brown Band (saw them in DC and they were phenominal opening for DMB; bring them back) 2) Ben Harper (with Innocent Criminals or Relentless 7) Always a Big Ben fan and he does great when he comes out and performs with DMB (Watchtower with them in 2000 was insane) 3) Hoots and Hellmouth-if you don't know who these guys are go listen to them, they are pretty wild. 4) Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers-very underrated musician and the exposure would help him 5) Mumford and Sons-Great opener of DMB

John Butler Trio. Saw them open for DMB in Boston back in November and they were great.

saw avett brothers and ocms open for dmb they were both great.
another good one would be g love

how bout some MF & SPEARHEAD!!
i saw 3 diff shows that Franti opened for him and they were just great, and even though this would never happen, it would be great if the Flecktones would open for them like the good ol days

I have no suggestions really, but this is what I have always liked about the openers, for the most part I have been turned on to some really great bands by catching the openers.
