Flecktones are in Conn. tomorrow and Maine on Saturday, so save your money ;) It's a shame that the best day by far is the one that's been called off (although it seems like Saturday is about 99.9% cancelled at this point too).

Mayor Bloomberg has pulled the plug on Saturday as well as Sunday:

"Let me say something about outdoor activities planned in the city. This weekend, more than 300 outdoor activities – street fairs, block parties, and so forth – have been planned. These activities, unfortunately, will have to be curtailed throughout the entire city, not just in the Zone A areas as we want to make sure that streets are available for emergency vehicles and busses throughout the entire city that may be needed in evacuation plans. We are revoking – and I have just signed an Executive Order to do so – all permits for events to take place in the city on Sunday, and in low-lying Zone A areas on Saturday as well. If you are not in a Zone A low-lying area, you can have your activity continue on Saturday, but we have amended the permits that require you to stop serving the public by 2:00 PM so you can use the rest of the afternoon to clean up."

Looks like it's just Friday, unless the whole thing just gets cancelled.

Dave Matthews Band Caravan
Ticket holders for Saturday and Sunday are invited to attend the Friday event tomorrow at Governors Island. The Governor of New York has issued a state emergency, therefore the DMB Caravan events on Saturday, August 27th and Sunday, August 28th have been postponed. We will announce the new Caravan Governors Island dates as soon as they have been confirmed. We will continue to post updates to the Caravan site as they are confirmed.

I'm just relieved that they are rescheduled as opposed to cancelling it all together... I mean my 3 day pass just came today!

wow what a crappy situation i would be livid borderline tears if i planned a trip like that just to have its cancelled hey at least they will make it up and im sure dmb might even due something extra for nyc because of it, free central park show second time around????

New York DMB Caravan – New Dates! New Venue!
The New York DMB Caravan has been rescheduled to September 16th, 17th and 18th and relocated to Randall’s Island just off Manhattan on the East River. In addition to Dave Matthews Band’s nightly headline set, Dispatch will perform on Friday and Saturday, the 16th and 17th. The full line-up for Dave Matthews Band Caravan at Randall’s Island will be announced soon. The Island can be reached easily by foot or bike as well as by public transportation.

All original tickets for the Governors Island three-day event will be honored on the rescheduled dates even if you attended Governors Island on Friday, August 26th. All 3-day GA tickets and VIP Packages will be honored on the respective rescheduled dates.

This was 100% the correct policy to take in this situation. I'm very impressed most bands would make you jump through some hoops.
