Wow. This song is pretty heavy. It'll hit you hard if you let it. Beautifully melancholy but with an edge of hope. I love this. I watch a lot of Afrobeat on linktv's World Music and I'm continuously amazed how these musicians can make such a rejoicing and resounding voice when so often it's born of rape, pillage, oppression, betrayal, poverty, and a devastation that I have thankfully never known. There is a strength there; one that I could only hope to have.
