Thumbs up DMB Vinyl - BTCS - never opened looking to move.

Hi everyone, I'm a father and need to move my unopened vinyl before these crowded streets album. It's in mint condition, I'm not greedy but also dont want to get boned over the price of this. I know it's rare to come by any of these albums, especially unopened with original sticker.
1. What do you feel is a fair private sale price for this album?
2. Where would you go about selling this? I don't like ebay,.feel going about it with someone personally is more my style.

Any thoughts or help appreciated! Have a little man now and need to raise funds to cover costs at home.
Thanks for any advice, good or bad.
David.

I looked on Amazon, and new ones look like they're going for $800. Used ones start at $265. Hope that helps. Congrats on the kid too. Better start DMB-brainwashing him now.

Absolutely. Personally, I wouldn't pay that much in a million years, but I'm sure there are people out (or maybe on here) there who would.

I would sell it for as much as you possibly can because when it's (inevitably) re-released on vinyl in the next few years, the prices of the original pressings will drop dramatically. I'm sure they'll still go for $100 or so, but you won't be able to get $500+ for it once it's not really that rare anymore.

Theres always going to be a difference between original vintage and the corporate need for money reissues. Lol

Oh, I know, at least in terms of people who are true vinyl collectors. But as far as people who just want to be able to say "I have BTCS on vinyl," (which I would say is the majority of the market for this particular album), the value will definitely go down when it's reissued.

David.
I've recently met a collector who paid 150 € (~ 200 US-$) for his one. He was happy to have gotten a new, sealed one with sticker without any hole for that amount....

I would say so! I've been offered $350 so far, and quite a few low-ballers too. lol Seeing it sell on amazon for 800-1200 is in my mind WAY too high, but I feel somewhere above my current offer is where I'll feel comfortable letting it go to a true collector/DMB fan. We'll see if that happens...
