Rashawn Ross now part of DMB?
So is Rashawn Ross now part of DMB just as Butch Taylor? Sure seems like that. What are your thoughts? I feel he would make a great contribution.

I think rashawn ross is great. the only thing is that at times he overshadows leroi. but nevertheless, its a great metallic sound for the band. i dont think he will be permanent like butch obviously is though. every band needs a piano...trumpet seems more like a phase =(

i've heard something along those lines...don't know if there is any truth in it though
i like what he adds to the band but i'm not sure what would happen if he tours with them all summer...

He may be featured in a bunch of shows this year, but I don't think it will be a Butch Taylor type of thing. I do like RR and he adds a fresh sound to some of their songs.

yea, i mean hes great, but i hate his extended solos that get insanely high pitched, and im like damnit shut up, im watching to hear pleasant sounds. but when hes just kinda jammin in the background or his recently solo hes cool

I like Rashawn. I like what him and Roi do...BUT I would not like to be like a Butch. Rashawn is good for a few shows but I wouldn't like him in every show! I think our 6
 members are enough.
