Tim Reynolds Scheduled For Entire 2008 Summer Tour
After many rumors, and a couple show cancellations, Tim Reynolds has been confirmed by a source close to DMB's touring schedule to be sitting in for every show this summer.
The last time that Tim joined DMB on stage was 8.23.2004 where he played on the last four songs of the main set. Fans also remember the fall of '98 where Tim guested at every single show producing one of the most talked about tours in DMB's history.
There was much speculation about Tim tagging along for the summer due to some random shows that he had scattered during DMB's tour. However, recently, those dates were cancelled to accomodate Tim and DMB getting together. Though, he still has a non DMB show with TR3 scheduled for 7.24.08 at the 10,000 Lakes Festival in Detroit Lakes, MN.
What does this mean for the DMB? Hopefully it will give them a chance to polish up the songs that they have been working on in the studio with Tim without being distracted night to night. The freedom for new ideas to develop from each show will be present, too.
Also, fans will be hoping that Tim's presence may inspire DMB to bring back some old songs that haven't been in rotation for a few years.
The tour begins in Burgettstown, PA on 5.30 and 5.31. Look for Tim at the shows your going to this summer.
