"The Grateful Dave" to Appear in New Sandler Movie

Dave Matthews and Adam Sandler are at it again.  Sandler will be releasing a new film around Valentine's Day 2011 either titled "The Pretend Wife" or "Just Go With It", starring himself, Jennifer Aniston, and featuring Dave Matthews.

Recently, Adam Sandler appeared on the Dan Patrick show to discuss his upcoming movie "Grown Ups", due out in June.  During the interview, Sandler mentions Dan Patrick is also going to make a guest appearance in the movie.  Sandler states that Patrick is the band leader in his scene and they had the following exchange: 

Dan Patrick: So I’m in with Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Aniston…

Adam Sandler:  Yeah, yeah… and Dave Matthews.

Dan Patrick: The Grateful Dave is in it?

Rob Schneider: Dave’s a good actor.

Adam Sandler: He’s a great actor.

Dan Patrick: He was very good on Saturday Night Live.

This will mark Dave's 3rd appearance in an Adam Sandler movie, following up "Chuck and Larry " and "You Don't Mess With The Zohan ".

With Dan Patrick playing the role of band leader, does this mean Dave may be singing in the movie?  Discuss this in our forums .
