An Acoustic Evening With Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds To Benefit Seeds of Compassion
It was announced on Monday, February 11th, that Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds will be playing a show at the Key Arena in Seattle on April 11th, 2008. This show will take place prior to the recently released date the acoustic duo has scheduled in Hawaii on April 19-20th.
The show is billed as "An Acoustic Evening With Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds" and is a benefit for the Seeds Of Compassion, a 5-day event in Seattle, Washington. The gathering is hosted by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and is focused on bringing the element of compassion to society.
Prior to the start of the concert, the Dalai Lama, Dave Matthews and others will take part in an interpersonal dialogue at 4:30PM. The dialogue will address how music plays a roll in breaking cultural, religious, and racial divides, as well as how music serves as a form of compassion.
Those who go to the show may also attend the dialogue prior to the concert portion of the event. The general public may also purchase tickets through Ticketmaster. All tickets are reserved and are $75 a piece.
Seeds Of Compassion will also be offering VIP packages for the concert. The VIP packages are priced at $1000 and include numerous additions to the concert, as well as the rest of the 5-day event. VIP ticket holders will receive preferred seating, be given access to an exclusive reception, and will even be offered a complimentary event poster. In addition, VIP ticket holders will also get 2 general seating tickets to Public Day and to the Interfaith Dialogue.
The evening will mark the first time Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds will take the stage in 2008 and promises to be a unique experience for all involved.
