On July 21st, 2003 Dave Matthews Band had a hunting knife thrown at them during the show. The event ended peacefully with a call for peace from Dave, but this isn't the first time they've delt with items being tossed on stage. This weeks first quote is a less peaceful pleading from Dave not to throw objects at him while he's playing a song.

The logistics of tour transportation for DMB has changed a lot over the years. Starting in a stinky van, and the occasional commercial airliner, they now ride in luxury tour busses and private jets.
