"When I was, I was in a trip, I'm sorry, I'll get to it in a second, I'm sorry. But I was in, I was in a, in Africa with a very dear friend of mine, and lives, and, and his family, and we're both fathers, and my wife, my beautiful wife and I, and then his beautiful wife, and him, and the kids, all were traveling. We were in this, we were in this crocodile- and hippo-infested area and there was a shallow part of the water, so we thought we'd let the kids go swimming, anyway, cause you know it's, you could see if they were coming. And so, you know, throw the dice. Hell, it's Vegas!
Uh. But his kids are, is kids are, I love his kids, but they live on a farm, and they're real wild. Like the kids just jump on the top of his car when he goes driving through the bush. They get on top of the car and they just hold on. They're three and four. He's out of his mind, but they just do it, and one's got a broken arm, holding on with one hand. And they're, and they're real bold, too.
Anyway. The one little, the little one, three year old, lovely little girl came. She's running around in the water, and then she ran out of the water, and she slapped a big wet hand on me and said, 'I got you wet.' And then she turned around and ran toward the 8 feet to the lake, but at seven and a half feet, she tripped and face-planted in the muddy water. And I, and it's those moments when I think, 'Maybe God is listening.'"
